The Larmer Tree Secret Garden Weddings, Salisbury, Wiltshire

The Larmer Tree Gardens is just down the road from Lisa Dawn Photography and one of our favourite Garden’s to visit. Situated in the beautiful Cranborne Chase on the Dorset/Wiltshire boarder, not far from Blandford Forum. With it’s 11 acre Victorian Pleasure Gardens and is the perfect ‘Country Garden’ wedding venue. Many of the original buildings from its Heyday still exist today, these include a Napalese Room, a Temple and Colonial Style Pavilion, which was originally the Victorian Tea Room!
The Larmer Tree is also famous for its three day festival featuring mainly acoustic folk and world music, but also roots, blues, jazz, Americana, reggae and more. The festival has been held in the Victorian pleasure gardens since 1990. There are camping facilities for guests who may wish to pitch up on your wedding night.
Many couples choose the gardens for it’s charm and relaxed atmosphere, whether you wish to play outdoor games with guests on the lawn with tea and cake or feast in the Pavillion room. The Larmer Tree offers something to suit everyone.
The Larmer Tree are now offering ‘Secret Garden Weddings’ for intimate, small celebrations held during the week on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, for up to a maximum of 30 guests.
