So Glamorous! 30th Birthday Party at Bar So, Bournemouth

At the weekend we headed over to Bar So, a trendy bar in the heart of Bournemouth for Andrew’s 30th Birthday Party ‘So Glamorous!’  I met Andrew through my partner Scott as they are working together on a number of websites for Andrew’s Musical productions, The West End Experience is a Broadway style show which is touring the UK.

We arrived before the party started to capture the décor.  The private function room was beautifully decorated with exotic flower arrangements made up of Orange Gerbera Daisies, Bird of Paradise flowers, Black Ostrich feathers and Fig leaves in elegant tall glass vases.

On each table there was a gold fish bowl filled with Andrew’s much loved fish. Andrew had a theatrical themed celebration cake, which took centre stage.  This fabulous cake was designed and made by Pat-a-Cake of Wimborne and was certainly a show piece.

We returned to the party once it ws well underway to take shots of Andrew’s nearest and dearest.

As the music was pumping we were very impressed that Andrew’s Grandmother also took to the dance floor.

We then awaited the ‘Cutting of the Cake’  which was a dramatic moment indeed, everyone gathered round in anticipation.  Andrew gave a short speech, we then left the party to carry on until the early hours.
