Jacqui and Steve had their wedding on the 15th May at The Haven Hotel, which is one of their favourite places to relax and drink coffee on a Sunday afternoon. The Haven Hotel is part of FJB Hotels, and is beautifully decorated in a Boutique Style. This Hotel boasts a large lounge and bar area with panoramic views of Poole Harbour. For those looking to have a wedding on Sandbanks Beach it is the perfect spot. Jacqui and Steve's wedding ceremony began mid-afternoon, so we arrived at the hotel at midday to take some shots of the venue and to meet Steve, The Groom and his Son an Best Man, Jack.
I made my way to the Bridal Suite where Jacqui was getting ready. Jacqui looked stunning in her wedding dress, which she bought in France. I took this opportunity to take some details including the beautiful white feather and blue jewelled bouquet, which Jacqui hand made. I love it when Brides make their own accessories as it adds a personal and unique touch to the wedding.
Downstairs in The Haven's Bar area guests were enjoying themselves before the wedding ceremony began.
Jacqui and her son, Adam made their way to the ceremony room.
The ceremony was beautiful, with a reading from Captain Corelli's Mandolin: 'Love is a temporary madness', which made many of the guests emotional. I am sure you will agree the words are beautiful.
Love is a temporary madness,
it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides.
And when it subsides you have to make a decision.
You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together
that it is inconceivable that you should ever part.
Because this is what love is.
Love is not breathlessness,
it is not excitement,
it is not the promulgation of eternal passion.
That is just being "in love" which any fool can do.
Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away,
and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.
Those that truly love, have roots that grow towards each other underground,
and when all the pretty blossom have fallen from their branches,
they find that they are one tree and not two.
I loved the choice of music Steve and Jacqui had chosen for their ceremony. During the signing of the register "Loving You' by Minnie Ripperton played and they walked out as Husband and Wife to 'I feel Good' by James Brown, which was perfect and made everyone want to dance!
Jacqui and Steve were happily married and joined their guests for drinks in the lounge.
The wedding reception tables were beautifully and simply decorated with cream roses in perspex columns, which made for elegant and modern centre pieces.
The Speeches were made before the Wedding Breakfast was served. We left Steve and Jacqui to enjoy the rest of their day.

Photographs with thanks and congratulations to Mr and Mrs Noel!
