Valentines Wedding The Miramar Hotel, Bournemouth

Rachel and Mark's wedding was a special day for us not only was it held on Valentine's weekend it was the third wedding of three siblings in the Barbet family we have photographed since last summer.

We were so pleased to photograph the Barbet family and got to know the family and their guests well. It was a nice change to recognise the guests and we felt very welcome at all three weddings.

Rachel and Mark's wedding took place on the 13th February at the beautiful Miramar Hotel in Eastcliff, Bournemouth. Miramar Hotel is beautifully decorated inside with a country manor house feel. The hotel is spacious, welcoming and the gardens have a magnificent view of the sea.

We arrived at the Miramar Hotel to find Mark, his Father, Best Man and Usher. We took a few shots before the guests started to arrive.

It was a chilly morning and so guests soon made their way to the bar and were seated in the warm. The interiors were decked with romantic red roses and carnation floral displays, we loved the heart details.

Rachel arrived with her bridesmaids. She was beaming and looked stunning in her ivory dress with rose details and a matching rose in her hair. Her bouquet was bright and romantic, with vibrant red roses. She looked both classical and modern...an English rose!

The ceremony was filled with laughter and tears, it took place in front of the window with sea views.

Once the ceremony was complete and Rachel and Mark were official Husband and Wife they walked back down the aisle, certificate in hand to the sounds of Stevie Wonder....perfect!

Rachel and Mark made their way down the red carpet, champagne in hand, as guests showered them with confetti.

The guests made their way outside to congratulate the couple and drink champagne to celebrate.

We took some shots of friends and family.

We then went off with Rachel and Mark for their couple shoot, the sun came out just at the right moment and made for some gorgeous shots.

Everyone was seated for the Wedding Breakfast, the table setting were decorated with red hearts, ribbon and roses in glass bowls which looked vibrant. We left the newly weds here to enjoy the rest of their day with their loved ones.
