Yesterday we met up with Susan & Harry to take a look at the venues where their wedding ceremony & reception will be taking place next summer.

St.Cross Hospital has a beautiful church and gardens and this is where their ceremony will be taking place.  This was the perfect spot for their engagement shoot.

Once we had finished we took a muddy stroll through the water meadows into the centre of town to Winchester Guildhall, which is an impressive building.  It was a great chance to get to know Susan and Harry and we can't wait to see them on their wedding day.

Scott and I are tying the knot next summer! When searching for our wedding venue, we knew we wanted something different and somewhere we had not been before; as wedding photographers in Dorset, this proved tricky! We fell in love with the idea of a romantic castle wedding, but a castle within budget can prove hard to find! We almost lost hope, that is before we found Old Wardour Castle.

It is the perfect setting for what we had in mind and will be an impressive backdrop for our wedding photography! Now we just have to wait until June...

Following Natalie & Danny's wedding ceremony on the 30th October 2010 in the Trafalgar Hall, we spent some time making the most of the beautiful interior and gardens at Minterne House.  The guests were on their way to the Reception in Weymouth, with champagne for the journey!

With so many beautiful features, archways, windows and grand furnishings, we really were spoilt for choice. Danny & Natalie were so laid back and natural with each other in front of the camera it was a pleasure to photograph them and we had a lot of fun doing so! Danny was a great help making sure Natalie's dress was perfect for each shot and it was good to share ideas with the couple.

The owners and staff at Minterne House were very friendly and helpful and we would like to thank them for being so accommodating! We wish Natalie & Danny all the best for their future together...

Natalie and Danny got married at Minterne House ,which is set in the valley of Minterne Magna and surrounded by beautiful gardens and countryside.  The autumn colours were stunning!  The guests arrived in a Route-master bus and made their way up the gravel drive to The Trafalgar Hall, with its magnificent barrel vaulted ceilings.

Natalie soon arrived in a silver Bentley with her parents. She looked stunning in her lace dress by Shanna Melville. I loved her contemporary look with a vintage twist!

Danny was so happy to see Natalie walk down the aisle and turned to the guests to give the thumbs up! We then stayed behind with the couple to take some shots in the House and Gardens while their guests enjoyed champagne on the bus journey to Weymouth. Part II Natalie & Danny's wedding to follow!
