At the weekend we met with Samantha and Alex for the first time to discuss their wedding plans and see their wedding venues and what amazing venues they are! 

They will be getting married at Christ Church in Clifton, Bristol, which is right by parkland and has a lovely village feel. The church has a huge spire and is stunning both inside and out.  They will then be going aboard the SS Great Britain for their reception. 

We all hopped aboard the huge ship to explore the decks. Samantha and Alex will have access to the entire ship on their wedding day so we will have plenty of rooms to make use of...we really are spolit for choice!

We then made our way to Clifton for a stroll by the Clifton Suspension Bridge (where there was a gorgeous hazy mist) before grabbing a coffee in town.  It was lovely to meet these two and we are really looking forward to their wedding this August!

Tammy & Nettie's wedding was discovered by the editor of newly lauched Gay Wedding Mag, Pink Weddings Magazine . It was spotted on Lou's whimsical wedding inspiration blog, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings so we would like to say a big thank you to Lou for featuring Nettie & Tammy's beautiful Shabby Chic Civil Partnership.

The magazine was launched at The Designer Civil Partnership Show in London on the 6th March.  The latest issue is all about how to have a Vintage Styled Civil Partnership, with loads of tips and advice. If you would like to read the latest version of Pink Weddings Magazine click here

On Friday we met Helen and James in Westbourne to take a look at the church where they will be getting married later this year. We then took a trip to the Branksome Beach on the hunt for beach huts. We found these colourful ones, which matched the couples outfits nicely & brightened up a rather chilly afternoon.

We can't wait to shoot Helen & James wedding at the RNLI Lifeboat College in July!

At the weekend we headed to the edge of The New Forest to meet Dawn & Alex, who's wedding we are photographing this Summer in Lymington.

We talked about their wedding plans over coffee in the beautiful Stanwell House Hotel and then wondered down to the Quay for their Engagement Shoot.

We had such fun and are very much looking forward to photographing these two again!

Plans to build a large cream Beach Hut, which will act as a Chapel, in which wedding ceremonies can take place on West Cliff Beach are awaiting approval. If the  plans go ahead Bournemouth will be the first town in Britain to offer the opportunity for couples to be wed on the beach. 

Bournemouth Beach Weddings are in high demand and it would be great to have a venue, which is literally on the sands! 

“A beach wedding package will be offered by local hotel partners who will be able to supply a wet weather licensed room at their hotels as back up.”
