Mio & Gordon celebrated their wedding at Huntstile Organic Farm in Somerset. Mio & Gordon's family & friends came together from Scotland to New Zealand to share their day.
We arrived at the farm in the morning to find guests camping in the fields, exploring the village and children playing in the fields along with the farm's dogs. There was such a relaxed atmosphere, which carried on throughout the day. Later guests gathered in the farm house before getting onboard the tractor, which was to take them across the fields to the stone circle. The stone circle is situated on a hill top beside woodland and has the most amazing views overlooking the Quantock Hills.
Mio & her father walked down the woodland path, through a willow archway into the Stone Circle where guests were gathered in excitement. Mio & Gordon's humanist ceremony was very personal, emotional and intimate.
Following their ceremony guests hopped back on the tractor, drinking organic cider on the way and warmed up in the farm house. Later everyone made their way into the marquee, which was decorated with pom poms, rustic flowers and twisted willow. I loved Mio & Gordon's hand painted table names, named after their favourite ciders: Legless but smiling, Green Goblin, Rathay's Old Goat, Druids Celtic Cider, Moles Black Rat, Janet's Jungle Juice & Black Dragon. A BBQ was served with a range of delicious organic salads; there was certainly plenty of food to go around and as the chef told us none would be wasted as any leftovers are fed to the chickens!

Jen & Jeff bought their family over from the U.S.A. to celebrate their wedding at Duns Castle in the Scottish Borders. Jen had always dreamed of a fairytale wedding and Jen & Jeff love to travel; so when the time came, Scotland was their wedding destination of choice.
Jen & Jeff really made their day extra special for their family with many personal touches and surprises throughout the day. Their family had a ball and it was touching to be a part of their day.
The preparations for the girls began at a hair salon in Edinburgh, meanwhile Jeff & the boys played an early morning round of golf to unwind. We got the chance to photograph Jen & Jeff before their first look, which was magical!
Jen & Jeff's Scottish ceremony was held outside the castle with views over looking the fields. The cows mooed in all the right places during the ceremony, which made everyone giggle. Whilst England experienced heavy rain I am pleased to say it was a glorious day in Scotland!
Following a candle lit meal in the Great Hall there were informal speeches, lots of laughs and as Jen thought some embarrassing childhood stories were shared...'the good stuff!' as Jen put it so well!
As the night drew in, guests lit Chinese wishing lanterns and later sat around the fire. I am sure this day will be remembered by everyone for a long time to come...

Gemma & Jack met whilst backpacking around Austrailia. Their wedding was a celebration of their love, combining their South African and English backgrounds. Gemma & Jack chose to hold their wedding at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens as they loved the relaxed, outdoor & wild feel of the gardens.
Their day was relaxed, full of laughter and merriment! Gemma & Jack had their own Wedding Fete, which was great fun, supplied by The Original Fete Company. They also had their own Photo Booth Shed, which kept the adults entertained all afternoon.
The food was supplied by Nomad Catering and looked divine! What a great way for two families to meet for the first time!
