Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Planning, Prep and Props Workshop with professional photographer Kirstie Young.

The Workshop took place at The Forge, a former 18th century coach house & Blacksmiths in Bristol. The space is industrial, with bare brick walls and huge windows, making for great natural light to play with. It was wonderful to meet fellow foodies and to gain some valuable insider tips on how to style and shoot beautiful photographs of food.

Here are a couple of my favourite shots from the day. We were tasked to design, style and shoot two different soups in an editorial style.
