Frome Festival Wedding. Hannah & Alex
Hannah & Alex held their wedding celebrations on their relatives' farmland in Beckington. Ivy House Farm is a dairy farm, which also runs events throughout the year on the edge of Frome.
As soon as I spoke with Hannah I knew their wedding was going to be fun and I was not mistaken. I have to admit the weather was not on our side and it poured for most of the day, with a small window of opportunity just after the wedding meal. We drove to a sheltered spot down a quiet country lane and I am so glad we did as the photos from this spot were beautiful.
Despite the weather Hannah & Alex’s day was so full of love, laughter and singing! It was such a down to earth celebration and a coming together of everyone who means so much to them both and guests who clearly think the world of them both too! You would hardly notice it was raining as the energy was amazing. A true British festival vibe.
Hannah & Alex’s celebrations were held in a huge Tipi in the middle of a field, they had a mobile cocktail bar, served from a vintage VW Camper Van and their wedding meal was street food cooked on an open fire, by Wood Fired Events! The evening ended with a seven piece soul band from Cardiff, who kept the dance floor moving. It really was a pleasure to capture such a fun, love filled day!
